In a latest go to to the Actual Academia Canaria de Bellas Artes, of which I’m a everlasting member, I performed a superbly restored Collard & Collard fortepiano (ca. 1820) that the Academy has in its exhibition room. So I made a decision to document this piece whose authorship, as lots of you realize, is disputed. The unique manuscript, supposedly copied by Ludwig Nohl, was subsequently misplaced. Is it actually an authentic work or a “reconstruction” of Nohl from Beethoven’s sketches?

Recorded on the Actual Academia Canaria de Bellas Artes de San Miguel Arcángel
