On July 14, 2015, NASA’s New Horizons spacecraft zipped earlier Pluto, scanning the dwarf planet in unprecedented factor. Using data from that flyby, The New York Events created a seven-minute digital actuality film. Fly over Pluto’s rugged ground, stand among the many many icy al-Idrisi Mountains and speak to down in frost-rimmed Elliot Crater.

The film was produced in collaboration with the Lunar and Planetary Institute and the Universities Space Evaluation Affiliation.
